DESCRIPTION:

Thirst for Life was realised in 48 hours during Global Game Jam 2013. Game won the second place in Gdansk edition.

PLOT:

Main hero is a car accident victim in the middle of an operation. In the mean time, his subconsciousness navigates his body trying to reach all of his failing organs while fighting with constant blood loss and hospital oriented visions.

GAMEPLAY:

Thirst for Life is a side view platform game. At the beginning controlled character can only move around by crawling, later, as he collects his missing limbs and organs new mobility options like jumping, running, climbing or diving become available. However activating organs accelerates blood loss, so Player needs to actively manage his resources and only enable extra abilities when required.
